Why WAX ATLAS HAND
The Atlas hand is a tool delivery system designed to remove the hassle of dealing with multiple tools and their hoses or cables. The Atlas Hand contains our proprietary FLOAT technology that is capable of holding heavy tool loads while maintaining effortless balance throughout its range of motion.
01 / SAFE
Hoses and cables can be a serious trip hazard in many work environments. Accidental puncturing and cutting of lines does not bode well for the user either. The Atlas Hand effortlessly
mitigates both hazards.
02 / CLEAN
Putting away tools at the end of the day keeps the work environment clean, work flow streamlined, and personnel engaged in their job. The Atlas Hand makes it easy and effortless to maintain a well organized 5S system in your manufacturing environment.
03 / HEAT RESISTANT
The Wax Atlas Hand comes with a black CeraKote Ceramic coating capable of withstanding up to 1,800°F temperatures making them ideal for applications involving torches.

03 / REACH
OVERHEAD MOUNT
"Overhead pole mount for complete access to the work cell"
Currently in development, this option is going to be our standard model of Atlas Hand as it creates the optimal work cell regardless of what equipment is needed in the work cell.
01 / OPTIMAL ACCESSIBLITY
An arm mounted from above with extended reach keeps mounting of the tool tray out of the way of the work cell and tray positioning in any location of the work cell whether the operator is right handed or left handed. This gives the work cell full flexibility for any layout needed.
02 / VACUUM LINE
Extra clearance within the arm allows for a vacuum line feature. This version includes a vacuum line and vacuum funnel mounted right at the top of the tray to extract fumes from the molten waxes on the tray.
04 / TRAY
The tray shown above is the tray used for Unger Designs proprietary Vulcan Wax System. The tray can be configured to hold off the shelf wax tools as illustrated in the above sections.

03 / MONITOR MOUNT
This model includes a monitor mount on the vertical arm of the tray, giving direct access of the operator to any information needed for the work being performed.
05 / OVERHEAD LIGHT AND AIR LINE
Mounting the tray from above creates a mounting location (on the center of the arm) for a light directly above the work piece of the work cell for optimal lighting on the work piece. Additionally, a drop air line can be mounted to this loction providing easy access to compressed air for cleaning the work area.
